About

Friends of Brunswick Park was set up in 2010 to give a gem of a South London park a bit of a polish and a helping hoe or two.

FOBP provides opportunities for members of the community to improve and promote the care of Brunswick Park to ensure that the Park is a beautiful, welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Objectives:

To maintain the high standards that led to Brunswick Park being awarded the Green Flag in 2011.

To work in partnership with Southwark Borough Council or other interested parties to help manage and generally look after the Park in a manner that will enhance its value to the community.

To maintain and enhance its unique characteristics of an attractive Victorian park that offers a range of facilities that meet the varied needs of the community it serves.

To encourage all users to treat the Park’s flora, fauna and facilities with respect.

To encourage all users to treat others with respect and thoughtfulness, through both their interactions and deeds.

To liaise and have positive relations with the Brunswick Park Tenants and Residents Association to ensure best welfare for the Park and its users.

To raise awareness and profile of the park.
